after yesterdays mellow ride (56miles/3.5hours), we decided to ride out to Kitt Peak Observatory. we headed directly west into the desert for 50 miles to get to the Kitt Road. then, we had to climb 12 miles to the top! once we battled our way up, we could see for miles all around us! after a quick decent down, we still had to get back to town. the ride ended up being my longest ever, 118 miles! it was a great day, beautiful weather with good friends! what a way to end our time in Tucson! now, we head north to Sedona for some time on out on our mountian bikes in the dirt!
